One of my colleagues ran into me after tasting the new Girl Scout Cookies, sugar-free "Brownies." Oh yuck. This colleague happens to be a Math and Chemistry genius, so he responded, as he knows I enjoy, with a little factoid.
Splenda is enjoyable, moreso than the "other guys" because it is made by taking two chlorine molecules and bonding them to a glucose molecule - thus preventing the glucose from being absorbed by your body.
I exclaimed, "Oh! So it's anti-glucosed!"
He laughed and said he had never thought of it that way.
