I'm thrilled. The first week of blogging has provided a realistic perspective.
I'm going to attempt to talk about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and draw from it something valuable for you all.
As an editor and writer starting out this venture, I feel a lot like Raphael, the "turtle" with passion and gumption. He wants to get it in gear and run into the throngs of battle. I want to grasp all the potential clients out there, and take on all of the projects that come my way.
But Master Splinter says, "Although passion and strength are good leadership qualities, a true leader needs patience and humility."
I have the passion and the strength necessary to carry this through to a substantial beginning; however, I need to exercise the patience and humility to lift it off the ground with full intentions to see it through after the initial thrill of newness has passed.
