It's so hot you walk out of the house, get into the car, and wonder why you even bothered to shower.
So hot that the best parking space is not the one closest to the store or office ... it's the one in the shade.
So hot no one wanted to cook last night, most restaurants were packed; however, there was immediate seating ... outside.
So hot Doug Hill's forecast for yesterday ... "Yesterday was hot, today, hotter, tomorrow? You gotta be kidding!"
It's so hot you couldn't figure out why, although it's cool in the rest of the house, it was about 95 degrees in the bedroom. Then! You see it - your dog lying right on top of the air conditioning duct.

So hot, my friend Gary went to Missoula, Montana to cool down. Missoula - where 4 days ago, that city recorded its all-time hottest temperature - 104 degrees... in Missoula, Montana.

It is SO HOT that this afternoon, my dog, Ripley? was chasing a cat? ... and both were walking.

In light of the broadcast, one of the staff in our apartment building has that dry sense of obvious humor that I couldn't help but laugh over. I came in from a jog and passed Jerry in the hall. We exchanged hello's and I said, "it's so hot out there!" He looks at me straight-faced and says, "Well, yeah, it's summer."
