Music that Entertains Us While "Holding"

Typically, the business calls I make put me on an average of 5 minutes of hold time. During these inconvenient minute-munching periods of stinky business hours with odd 1.5 hour "lunch hour" breaks that the phone centers conveniently take, I get the privilege of some form of entertainment. Most of the time it's elevator music, or some jazzy mix with which I'm unfamiliar, or the buzzing indecipherable tune that wouldn't pass off as an mp3 on the subway. But... earlier this week I had two in one day that I have to say put a bounce in my step.


J.S. Paluch, a church bulletin advertising company, played a beautiful spiritual mix. Makes sense, right?




So I call the guy from Eradico, and the system gives me some hard-core, hip-hop, brainsmashin' rap somethin' or other. I had to laugh. But really, how else are you gonna get rid of those pests?
