Being Saturday, it's pretty hard to buy stamps. If you don't have stamps, make tomorrow day 6/7. Address the envelopes today, keep the SASEs in a pile so you won't forget to put stamps on them too.
Did you know that copyrighting your manuscript even before you write a cover letter is considered amateur!?
So don't do it. Publishers don't have the time to bother with "stealing" the idea. If you see it in the future, someone else has most certainly proposed it too.
