A Culture of Life

I can't remain silent.
Last night's news story had me crying in my husband's arms.
From the womb to the tomb, we must stand up for life. This is life. Life is precious. All life. I can't stand it when officials say "I can't say when life begins for anyone else." Are you kidding me? Life is not a disease whether it's at conception or under the suffering of a loved one at the end of life. Life is a gift.
Pope John Paul II said the family is the main target in the renewal of modern society.

Back in March of 2001, when he was an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama was the only senator to speak against legislation to protect infants who were born alive after an abortion. He called them ‘pre-viable fetuses’ because if you call them people, he said directly, ‘I mean, it would essentially bar abortions because the equal protection clause doesn’t allow somebody to kill a child, and if this is a child, then this would be an anti-abortion statute.’

"Sen. Barack Obama supports late-term partial-birth abortions where the baby is fully delivered except for the head and then killed; as an Illinois Senator even voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, medical care for a baby who survived an abortion; as President would sign Freedom of Choice Act which would cancel all legal restrictions on abortion; does not know when human life begins.

Sen. John McCain voted for the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act; believes Roe v. Wade must be overturned; voted to confirm justices Alito and Roberts; rights of the unborn is one of his most important values; and knows that human life begins at conception." article
