Pro-Life Movement, Forget Roe v. Wade

It's not a bad thing, and it's not the wrong thing, but using all of our energies to defeat a bill that will only put a dent in a very large problem will accomplish little.

If we could put all of our energies towards one effort that would cause a simultaneous domino effect across hundreds of policies and thousands of laws, wouldn't we want to do that?

The ramifications of Roe v. Wade caused the prevalence of abortion. Its defeat will not stop abortion.

We need to amend the US Constitution.

We need to amend the 14th Amendment so that it defines citizen or defines "born" or clarify that "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" are prioritized in that natural order, and define "life" from the moment of conception.

Born as in to deliver forth the child. I think the medical community is pretty clear on this. If baby does not come out of the womb, baby is not born. You cannot claim the child as a dependent (unfortunately) until the tax year of birth. Considering medical bills, this is a lot of dough! Protection of the unborn is a different matter entirely.
