Day 11: "It's Just Fiction"

Last evening, the episode of "24" had me yelling at the fictional Vice President. I couldn't believe he would be that "evil." Power corrupts.
"It's just fiction," someone said.
This was the response my parents used to give when I cried at the end of books I had read, or became angry at villains in movies and novels.

"It's just fiction."

Of course it is just fiction, but I am a reader participant. I try to connect with the stories I read, and I try to remain open to insight, taking away from the experience some lesson or valuable perspective on life. That's exactly how I take each project I receive - with an active role towards the task required of me, and with an open mind, ready to gain knowledge and to increase my talents.
