Crowning Your Achievements Means Listening to Your Needs

At the nail salon, the owner of the spa came up to me while my nails were drying, and began sharing about the many trials and tribulations of her start-up business. The sinks had arrived with cracks, the electricity was late in installing, the neon signs had been broken or defective - twice, and her recent postcard went out with spelling errors and grammatical problems. My ears perked up. I immediately offered my services. I used to work for a direct mail company, and I currently design marketing postcards for a tutoring company. The owner was relieved. That's exactly the moment when I know that my purpose in this business endeavor is fulfilled - I meet someone's needs, and I crown their achievements.
More to come on the nail salon's crowning achievements!
